Dual Language Learners:

This reflection paper came from Developmental Psychology, in response to an article I chose that offered advice for early childhood teachers on how to work with young dual language learners in their classrooms. This aligned with the unit in the course at the time, focusing on language acquisition developmentally.

Preterm Birth and Societal Disparities:

This essay discusses relevant findings related to how racial, economic, and other social disparities have led to worse maternal and infant health outcomes for populations of color in the US. Suggestions to combat these disparities are made at the end.
