Selfless Self Portrait: An Identity-Affirming Activity for Adolescent Amputee

The purpose of this assignment was to create an activity for a specific developmental and illness population that would be therapeutic in nature. In the essay below, I describe the activity I designed for adolescent amputees as well as the rationale behind the benefits of this project for the designated population. Included is also relevant information about this population and their experiences in the hospital setting.
